An electrical fire at the Ditmas Avenue F subway station on the border of Borough Park and Kensington was brought under control around 4:15pm, the FDNY says. It was first reported around 12:05pm. Witnesses say the fire broke out on the tracks and was raining down on the cars below. They said it was quite a hectic scene. “I’ve never seen anything like it – like a fire rain,” said witness Dwayne, who works at a nearby warehouse. The FDNY says the fire was in the electrical room at the station. No injuries were reported. Click here to read more on brooklyn.news12.com.
