The FDNY says they battled a fire on the sixth floor of an apartment building in Brighton Beach at around 4:00pm on Tuesday. FDNY Battalion Chief Michael Stone told News 12 they discovered "several burning e-bikes powered by lithium-ion batteries. “The fire condition wasn’t that severe, but the smoke condition was," Chief Stone added.
