An East Flatbush man will spend 14-years in prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy.
The office of Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez on Nov. 22 identified the man as 34-year-old Christopher Fiesco, who wore a full ski mask when he held a teen at knifepoint at Winthrop Street and East 98th Street in East Flatbush on May 2, 2022.
He grabbed the child’s arm, and asked him for the time before forcing him to climb a fire escape to an apartment at 87 East 53rd Street. He then instructed the teen to shower before sexually assaulting him.
He was arrested after the boy's family alerted 911 about the incident.
"Today’s sentence holds the defendant accountable for a terrifying assault of a child and spares the young boy from having to testify and recount this life-altering attack in a courtroom. My thoughts are with the victim and his family, who I commend for immediately reporting this incident to the police and ensuring the defendant was brought to justice," said Gonzalez.
Fiesco pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sexual act on Aug. 9, 2024. The DA's office said he will register as a sex offender upon release.
