A 74-year-old woman was struck and killed at an East Flatbush intersection on Tuesday afternoon, according to police. Law enforcement officials said that the victim was found on the roadway at the intersection of New York Avenue and Avenue D with severe trauma to the head and body trauma. She was taken to Kings County Hospital and pronounced dead. Officers said that the 28-year-old driver of the vehicle that struck her remained on the scene. There are no arrests at this time.
