The man accused in a deadly hit-and-run in Bed-Stuy back in 2022 appeared in court Thursday. The incident claimed the life of Lynn Christopher and left her grandson, Jacob, with extensive brain injuries. "When you think of having children, you save for college," said Lindy Gardner. "You're saving for their future." Yet Gardner says the money she was putting aside for her son is now being spent on round-the-clock treatment. "He's wheelchair bound. He's non-verbal.
