The L subway line had major delays midday after a train hit a person at a Brooklyn subway station, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said.
There was no L train service between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street while emergency teams responded to a person who was struck by a train at DeKalb Avenue, the MTA said at around 11 am on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Trains were running in sections, as 8th Avenue-bound L trains ended at Broadway Junction, where they turned around for Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy-bound service, the MTA said.
Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy-bound L trains ended at Lorimer Street, at which point turned back to Manhattan.
