Residents in Coney Island faced an unexpected disruption on West 28th Street when a significant sinkhole appeared, drawing attention and concern from the community. The sinkhole, which first appeared on Monday morning, has forced local authorities to close off the street to drivers. Inside the sinkhole, there appears to be water gushing from what appears to be a ruptured pipe.
