A man was punched in the face by a stranger on the subway in New York City last month, police said Wednesday. The incident happened on a southbound A train in Brooklyn around 5:15 pm on March 30, according to the NYPD. As the train was approaching the Jay Street–MetroTech station, the suspect stood up and allegedly punched a 40-year-old man sitting next to him, police said.
