Police and prosecutors announced a major takedown of members of two gangs accused of multiple shootings in Brooklyn. Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said the 18 suspects are members of Bloods-affiliated street crews. They were arrested and charged in connection with 12 shootings in Crown Heights and Bedford-Stuyvesant over the last two years. Two of the shootings were fatal.
