Brooklyn Man Wounded in Early Morning Shooting in Brownsville

Brooklyn detectives are looking for the gunman who shot and wounded a man early on Sunday morning.

Brooklyn detectives are looking for the gunman who shot and wounded a man early on Sunday morning. Police said the shooting happened at about 12:45am on Dec. 8 near the corner of Hegeman Avenue and Thomas S. Boyland Street in Brownsville. Officers from the 73rd Precinct, in responding to reports of the gunfire, found the victim, a 55-year-old man, suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
