Hundreds of people gathered at Whiskey Annex on Berry Street for a fundraiser organized by a Brooklyn couple who grew up in the Asheville, N.C. area. They were supposed to be married in North Carolina on Oct. 19 but had to postpone it due to the devastation from Helene. As news of the devastation poured in, Molly Frye and Joel Brown quickly started reaching out to their vendors.
