Brooklyn Authorities Seek Driver Who Fled Scene After Hitting Mother and Daughter

The victims suffered a fractured arm and back.

Police in Brooklyn are searching for a hit-and-run driver who injured a mother and her child last month, authorities confirmed. According to police sources, the 33-year-old mother was crossing E.16th Street and Quentin Road in Midwood with her 8-year-old son and daughter at around 4pm on April 28 when the driver of a black sedan traveling southbound suddenly put the car in reverse. Authorities said the driver ultimately struck the mother and daughter before speeding away toward Quentin Road.
