An 87-year-old woman was fatally struck by the driver of a minivan Friday evening while crossing East 88th Street near Avenue L, police say. According to the NYPD, a 2010 Honda Odyssey driven by a 39-year-old man struck the woman before crashing into a parked car. The incident was captured on a Ring surveillance camera and shared with News 12. They say Esther Sealy was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
