A 10-year-old girl was fatally struck by a vehicle in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon, police said. The incident happened at Wallabout Street and Wythe Avenue around 2:40 pm, according to the Fired Department of New York. The girl was taken to a local hospital where she died, police said. The driver, a 62-year-old male, stayed at the scene of the crash, authorities said. It remains unclear if the driver will face any criminal charges.
