New 'Affordable' Housing Lottery Opens for 827 Sterling Place in Crown Heights

Eligible income ranges span from $108,000 to $218,010.

The "affordable" housing lottery for 827 Sterling Place, a brand-new seven-story residential building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, is now open.

Designed by Issac & Stern Architects and developed by Haussmann Development in partnership with Kriss Capital, this modern building offers 76 residences, with 23 units available for households earning up to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI). Eligible income ranges span from $108,000 to $218,010.

Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Crown Heights, 827 Sterling Place boasts an impressive array of amenities. Residents can enjoy a dog-washing station, a garage equipped with electric vehicle charging stations, common area Wi-Fi, a fully equipped gym, a children’s playroom, storage space, a virtual doorman, and a rooftop terrace with stunning views.

The thoughtfully designed apartments feature hardwood floors, in-unit washers and dryers, air conditioning, intercom systems, and energy-efficient appliances.   • Two-bedrooms: Five units at $4,215/month for incomes between $144,515 and $218,010.

To qualify, prospective renters must meet specific income and household size requirements. Applications can be submitted online or postmarked no later than February 10, 2025.
