Lidl U.S., a supermarket operator, said it will open a new Brooklyn location at Gateway Center in East New York on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
The company will celebrate the new store opening, at 459 Gateway Dr., starting at 7:40am, according to a press release. Customers can enjoy a freshly baked croissant and a cup of coffee at the grand opening.
Lidl is a German grocer that entered the U.S. market in 2015. The stores carry a mix of high- and low-priced food items, where shoppers experience a curated collection of private label picks, global imports and everyday name brands. The story will carry imported cheeses, baked goods, fresh vegetables, meats and seafood.
The Brooklyn store will be open from 8:00am to 10:00pm daily.
