The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Bandana, a new Brooklyn-based job search website, and St. Francis College are teaming up to host the Brooklyn Bridge to Employment Career Fair to help New Yorkers find jobs on Tuesday, Jan. 9.
There will be over 40 employers recruiting for full-time, part-time, seasonal and internship positions, including the Brooklyn Public Library, Brooklyn SolarWorks, many banks including Chase and Wells Fargo, the FDNY, Maimonides Medical Center, New York Life, The City Tudors and unions. See the full list here.
"Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce is proud to kick off 2025 with our first community job fair of the year," said Randy Peers, president and chief executive officer of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. "With Brooklyn recently leading the nation on year-over-year employment growth in a county-level analysis, Brooklyn Chamber is committed to continuing this momentum by featuring the borough’s robust job market."
Bandana will provide free headshots and attendees can also be the first to try a resume builder tool to help create or glow up a resumé in minutes.
“As we start 2025, we know that many New Yorkers are looking for work,” said Tim Makalinao, chief executive officer and co-founder of Bandana. “Our goal is to empower hourly and entry-level workers to find and land jobs through transparency and trust. We're looking forward to meeting job seekers in person and showing them the many free tools we offer that can help them on their career journey.”
The fair will take place at St. Francis College, 179 Livingston St., between 11:00am and 2:00pm. Job seekers can register here and should bring many print copies of their resume.
