Food Bazaar Supermarket recently announced the opening of its newest grocery store in Brooklyn.
Located at 1102 Myrtle Ave., the new full-service supermarket offers the same one-stop shopping experience that the family-owned grocery chain is known for, including multicultural foods and flavors from around the world.
"We are truly excited to see our store come to life once again in a community we have had the privilege of serving for so many years,” said Edward Suh, executive vice president for Food Bazaar.
“We eagerly anticipate welcoming back our loyal shoppers to a beautiful facility that now offers expanded services, including a meat department with skilled butchers for custom-cut meats, a full-service seafood department boasting a variety of whole fish, fillets, crab legs, and live lobster, a deli counter serving hot meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a bakery with freshly baked in-house breads and a delightful assortment of cakes, as well as a wide selection of organic and natural foods."
To celebrate the store’s opening, Food Bazaar is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new location on Nov. 2, at 10:00am.
Open to the community, the event will offer complimentary food samples in-store, as well as hand out free tote bags filled with delectable treats for the first 1,000 customers, among other family-friendly activities that are planned for the festivities.
Additionally, as part of the ceremony, Food Bazaar announced that it plans to donate food to local nonprofits to help provide meals to Brooklyn and Queens residents who are in need.
