Even though it'll be pouring on Saturday, you know Brooklyn never stops! Our weekly Lit-List is curated just for you- it has all the events you'll enjoy across borough this weekend. 

Friday, March 22 

​Second City presents the First City Revue- The titans of Chicago's improv scene now has a new Brooklyn home in Williamsburg. There are two performances on Friday, one at 7 pm and another at 10 pm. So just say "Yes, and!" and head to 64 N.9th Street.

Chop & Quench Special Ops- Special Ops is the compact version of the renowned 15-piece band, Chop & Quench, comprising members from the cast and band of the highly acclaimed musical FELA!, Each musician in Special Ops has collaborated with esteemed artists such as The Roots, India Arie, Elvis Costello, Beyonce, Femi Kuti, and Angelique Kidjo to name a few. At Radegast Hall and Biergarten, 113 N. 3rd Street.

Saturday, March 23 

Switch n' Play is Brooklyn's very own drag collective. Queer in every sense of the word, the show features artists including Divina GranSparkle, K.James, Miss Malice, Nyx Nocturne, the Illustrious Pearl, Vigor Mortis, and Zoe Ziegfeld. At Littlefied, 635 Sackett Street.

The She Party! offers a night of fun, music, and dancing. Music by Boston Cherry, Chiara Chaii, and Mamiinthemiddle. Hip-hop- Afro-beat and Jersey Club all night at the dyke bar The Bush, 333 Troutman Street.

Sunday, 24 March 

You never know what's going to happen at this famous men's college basketball tournament. March Madness is at Barclays Center, 620 Atlantic Avenue.

Enjoy a relaxing Sunday exploring basic watercolor techniques at this family art, coffee and yoga event at Grounded Cafe, 198 Fifth Avenue, in Park Slope. The hour-long class (10 am - 11 am) includes use of all art materials during class and one free drink.
