Brooklyn is bursting with talent, and comedians are no exception. With countless comedy clubs across the borough, your next laugh is just around the corner. Need a pick-me-up? Check out these five must-visit spots:

1. The Bell House

Located in Gowanus, The Bell House is a spacious venue that attracts top-notch comedians from around the country. Apart from comedy shows, you can enjoy live podcast recordings and music shows and performances. The decor is a mix of vintage and modern, with a bar and table seating available. Some notable comedians who have performed at The Bell House include Tig Notaro and Patton Oswalt.

2. Union Hall

Located in Park Slope, Union Hall is a fantastic venue that's perfect for catching some up-and-coming comedians. The decor is vintage-inspired, with comfy couches and a fireplace.

3. Littlefield

This Gowanus venue hosts a variety of events, including stand-up comedy shows. The decor is industrial-chic, with exposed brick walls and a bar serving craft beer and cocktails. Littlefield has hosted comedians such as Aparna Nancherla and Phoebe Robinson.

4. Eris

Eris is an art, music and performance event space in Williamsburg that hosts comedy shows six nights a week before 10:00pm and music/dance events late night. So you can have both: laughter and dancing!

5. The Tiny Cupboard

Located in Bushwick, The Tiny Cupboard is a quirky and fun venue that's perfect for catching some experimental and alternative comedy. Sometimes you can catch big names here that are trying out their new material before they film their next comedy specials. Tickets are cheap and you can even get a season pass!
