Get ready for some holiday hijinks! The Narrows Community Theater will show a live stage adaptation of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinsons at Fort Hamilton Army Base Theater from Dec. 6-8.
The heartwarming and hilarious tale will take viewers through the charm and chaos of the Herdman family as they discover the true meaning of Christmas, according to a press release.
Chris Carver, a seasoned director, and Dayle Vander Sande, the show's co-producer, are the brains behind a show that promises to bring humor and holiday warmth.
It will also be Carver's sixth production with NCT after Cinderella, Seussical, A Christmas Carol, Something Rotten, and Nunsense.
"Directing The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is about finding a fresh voice for this cherished story,” Carver said. “Every production I take on is a new chance to take risks and push beyond what’s expected. The challenge with each show, whether it’s Broadway-bound or a community theater production, is to make it unique and memorable. I’m excited for audiences to see the heart and humor our cast has brought to this timeless holiday tale."
