On Thursday, May 23, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce will host their first-ever Asian American Heritage Month Celebration and Night Market.
Held at Industry City in Sunset Park, the celebration will include live musical and cultural performances, view local artisan crafts and more than 60 food and drink vendors, according to a news release.
The Night Market will feature musical performances by K-Pop music star Min, formerly of the girl group miss A. Min is known for her electric stage presence and often referred to as one of K-pop’s Queens of dance.
Also performing is Filipino American rapper and singer Slayrizz. Born and raised in New York City, Slayrizz gained recognition for her song "Yes Bish" from the critically acclaimed Comedy Central show Broad City.
