The walk begins at 5:00pm at 392 Rockaway Ave. and will end at 172 Watkins St. The walk should take about 30 minutes with stops, and the majority of the event will take place in the public space on Watkins St., according to a news release.

The event will showcase about 10 pieces on the walk and then more in the gallery space where the walk ends. The event also includes dinner and music.

Through the Brownsville Creators program, young people between the ages of 16-24 worked on their creations over the past 12 weeks, according to Senior Program Manager Mallory Thatch.

“Brownsville is home to many artists but has very few resources for artists," she said. "The Brownsville Creators program empowers participants to express themselves through visual art and arts communications."

This program highlights the need for more arts programming in Brownsville and continued investment in the arts, she said.
