The eighth annual festival will be held on Aug. 20 from 12:00pm-5:00pm at Brower Park.

On Aug. 20, Brower Park in Crown Heights will overflow with musical performances, kids activities and an artisan market as the community celebrates its One Crown Heights Community Festival.

"The mission of the One Crown Heights Community Festival is to bring people together, to foster an environment of understanding and appreciation for different cultures, and to inspire positive change. This festival is a testament to the power of unity, and we look forward to welcoming all members of the community to join us in this joyous celebration," said Maayan Zik, community coordinator of One Crown Heights.

The eighth annual festival will be held from 12:00pm-5:00pm at Brower Park, which sits between Kingston and Brooklyn avenues.

The event is free and open to the public and will feature performances by:

Local food vendors, Call Chef Food Services and Carbon BK will be on-site with both Kosher and non-Kosher options.

Kids are encouraged to come down and take part in a number of activities, which will include storytelling sessions, roller skating lessons with Outdoor Skates, and an interactive gymnastics show with J-Leagues.

Brooklyn Children’s Museum will also be providing free admission to the museum during the festival time.

And, back by popular demand, the community conversation tent will return for the fourth year. The tent is an opportunity for local residents to engage in discussions in a safe space.

The community conversation tent is sponsored by the American Jewish Committee and will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm near the Park Place and Kingston Ave entrance of Brower Park.

Health organizations will also be on hand to provide vital health screenings and education. Additionally, an artisan market will showcase numerous local businesses. For more information, click here.
