BRIC, a multi-disciplinary arts and media institution located in Downtown Brooklyn, has announced the 2022-23 BRIClab artists-in-residence program.

The residency program was created to offer emerging and mid-career artists mentorship, essential resources, financial support, and skills-based learning opportunities, according to BRIC.

The institution says that its goal with the residency program is to build a stronger and more diverse artistic community in Brooklyn. BRIC also says that it aims to accomplish this by fostering relationships, as well as supporting the long-term growth and engagement of the participating artists in the program.

"Our BRIClab residency program provides an opportunity pipeline for some of the most dynamic and innovative artists working in Brooklyn,” said Wes Jackson, the president of BRIC.

“Many of these creators go on to showcase within other parts of BRIC, like our Contemporary Art Project Room or even the stage of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! BRIClab is at the heart of what we do here at BRIC, and I'm honored to welcome this new cohort of artists and makers into the BRIC community."

BRIClab supports and offers resources to artists that work in four distinctive creative tracks.

These four creative tracks are divided into the following BRIClab residency programs:
