Triskelion Arts presents The “Black Black Black” Week, a guest curation by Beyond The Black Box, happening Sept. 17-19 at the Trisk Theater.
The “Black Black Black” Week is a three-day gathering of dancers, choreographers and multidisciplinary artists. This year's theme is Family Reunion, celebrating the deep connections and shared history within the Black community, according to a press release.
This event series marks three years of Beyond the Black Box, an arts and cultural organization dedicated to amplifying Black voices, fostering connections and educating through immersive experiences.
Doors will open at 6:00pm each day for attendees to experience the signature community mural, an active photo booth, curated cocktails, soulfood, breathwork and meditation.
The performances will commence at 7:30pm with a guided breathwork ceremony led with an African Drummer.
