An upcoming event hosted by the Brooklyn Cyclones will bring together both two-legged and four-legged fans alike.

The event, called "Bark in the Park", allows fans of the Minor League Baseball (MiLB) team to bring their dogs out to enjoy a baseball game at Maimonides Park.

The canine-friendly event will be taking place on Wednesday, Aug. 31 beginning at 7 p.m., when the Cyclones will be taking on the Wilmington Blue Rocks.

Attendees who wish to attend the game with their furry friends will need to purchase a special Bark in the Park ticket package. The ticket package will allow attendees to watch the game with their dogs in The Backyard section of Maimonides Park.

The Bark in the Park event is part of the Brooklyn Cyclones' Wag-tail Wednesday series, which is sponsored by the Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group (VERG) Brooklyn.

“This is our sixth Bark in the Park event we’ve sponsored this summer at the ballpark and love seeing the participation of baseball fans and their pets,” said Michele Tinsley, marketing manager at VERG. “With this being the last dog-friendly event of the season, we encourage everyone to come out and enjoy one last game that’s going to the dogs.”

Anyone that is interested in attending can purchase tickets at www.milb.com/brooklyn/tickets/bark. Admission for the event is $15 when using the promo code "bark" during ticket selection.

In addition, the first 1,500 fans in attendance for the game that day will receive a Bugs Bunny bobblehead figure.
