A man accused of stabbing a 20-year-old woman at an East New York subway station has struck again, stabbing a 77-year-old woman, according to police.

The unprovoked attack unfolded just after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Crescent Street subway station, according to police. The man came up behind the elderly woman as she was walking in the station and stabbed her with an unknown sharp object, police said.

The woman was sent to the hospital and is in stable condition, police said. The man, who did not say anything to the victim during the attack, fled the station, police said.
