The drama began on Schneck Ave. in East New York about 3:30 a.m. when cops searching for a crook breaking into cars spotted a 2004 Honda CR-V with New Jersey plates and tinted windows moving down the street erratically.

When the officers tried to stop the SUV the driver tried to run over the officers, forcing them to jump out of the way, police sources said.
