Smaller in size but not in excitement – dozens came out to celebrate and march for the annual West Indian America Day Carnival Association mini parade in Crown Heights on Labor Day.

With the cut of the ribbon, Eastern Parkway transformed into a Caribbean dance party, but on a much smaller scale than in previous years.

“It is so important to continue the tradition and not to let COVID get in the way,” Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams says.
