Eric Adams volunteer stabbed in Bronx, campaign says

A volunteer for New York City mayoral candidate Eric Adams was stabbed Sunday in the Bronx, according to the campaign.

The victim, a 42-year-old man, was cornered by two attackers on 149th St. and Morris Ave. in Mott Haven just after 2:40 p.m., police sources said. They argued, and video shows one of the men repeatedly stabbing the victim before both run off, sources said.

He was undergoing surgery at Lincoln Hospital as of Sunday evening, a campaign spokesman said. Police said he’s in stable condition.
