Eleven people were shot and wounded over a roughly six-hour span across most of the city's five boroughs Monday.
The violence unfolded in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and on Staten island, starting on 145th St. and Jamaica Ave. just before 4:45 p.m., where a 36-year-old man was shot in the ankle, cops said.
Less than an hour later, at 5:40 p.m., a 35-year-old man was hit several times on Eighth Ave. and W. 143rd St. in Harlem. Medics took him to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
