A young Brooklyn woman's life was cut short in a pre-dawn gunfight between gang members outside an after-hours party — and now her young daughters will have to grow up without her.
Munoz, a young mom known by friends as "Petty," had decided on a lark to go to the underground party, according to her older sister, Sabrina Munoz, 30.
"She's my little sister. We were 21 months apart. This really rocked my entire world," Sabrina said. "I'm hoping I'll wake up and this won't be real."
