After the Risen Star Stakes took place last Saturday, the odds and lines of this year's Kentucky Derby hopefuls had moved significantly. In the next two weeks, there are four races to look forward to, which are the Southwest Stakes, Hyacinth Stakes, John Battaglia Memorial Stakes, and Fountain of Youth Stakes.

These races served as the starting trails that every Derby hopeful must overcome. Remember that racehorses need to secure qualifying points to earn their slot at Churchill Downs. During the Risen Star Stakes, the horse racing community has released a new set of odds ranking for the 146th Derby running.

It is important that you get guided with the racehorses' lines to know which entry to wager. Not only that, but it also helps you learn the big favorites and underdogs in the upcoming Kentucky Derby betting. That said,  below are the current odds ranking and earnings of every Derby hopeful after the Risen Star Stakes.

Mandaloun (52 Points)

After a disappointing loss at the Lecomte Stakes, Mandaloun bounced big time at the Risen Star Stakes last weekend. He has proven to Midnight Bourbon and Proxy that his Lecomte run was no fluke. That said, he took over the top rank in this week's Derby odds ranking, gaining 52 points and securing $351, 252 earnings.

Essential Quality (30 Points)

With only two accomplishments in his resume, Essential Quality has made one step back in the Derby ranking today. He may have missed the Risen Star Stakes but is scheduled to contend at the Southwest Stakes this weekend. If he wins the game, he will not only boost his $1,335, 144 current earnings but might be back on the top spot.

Midnight Bourbon (26 Points)

Winning the Lecomte yet settling at third in the Risen Star Stakes was an inconsistent ride for Midnight Bourbon. Despite the result, he remained to be one of the favorite colts that might win this year's Kentucky Derby. That said, he recently gained $261, 420 earnings and is making another slate for the Louisiana Derby this March.

Proxy (24 Points)

Earning both the second places at the Lecomte Stakes and Risen Star Stakes, Proxy maintains his line for the upcoming Kentucky Derby. He earned 24 points along with $187, 700 present earnings. Like Midnight Bourbon and Madaloun, Proxy is looking forward to competing at the Louisiana  Derby to boost his lines.

Keepmeinmind (18 Points)

Presently earning $394, 320, and 18 points, Keepmeinmind has settled in the 5t rank this week. His placements in the Breeders' Futurity and Breeders' Cup Juvenile might boost his odds, but this horse has to work out as fast as he can. He's scheduled for the Southwest Stakes, and he has to win this so his lines won't drop significantly.

Rombauer (14-Points)

Earning 14 points and $210, 500 in his bank account, Rombauer looks better for the Derby odds ranking this week. He missed the Risen Star Stakes last week to make way for the El Camino Derby, which he successfully won the race. Like Keepmeinmind, Rombauer must hustle harder in the upcoming trails to gain consistent lines.

Medina Spirit (14 Points)

Medina Spirit might have placed second in the Sham Stakes but bounced back in the Robert B. Lewis Stakes. That said, he has earned 14 points and $105, 200 in his bank account. He had no scheduled races yet, not even expressing a bid in the Southwest Stakes and Louisiana Derby.

Spielberg (13 Points)

With 13 points, Spielberg has dropped his odds significantly in this week's Derby odds ranking. His current earnings of $263, 200 are only brought by his placements in the Bob Hope Stakes and Robert B. Lewis Stakes. After his Los Alamitos win, Spielberg needs to hustle hard this time to boost his lines.

Jackie's Warrior (12 Points)

The same with Spielberg, Jackie's Warrior has also descended in the Kentucky Derby ranking. He recently gained 12 points and $502, 564 as his earnings. Besides, he's working out in the Southwest Stakes to make his lines look solid.

Cape Kane (12 Points)

Completing the Kentucky Derby odds ranking this week after the Risen Star Stakes is Capo Kane. He earned 12 points and secured $144, 500 in his bank account. He recently won the Withers Stakes and is a current titleholder for the Jerome Stakes.
