Not only is the Borough of Brooklyn the realest (according to Notorious B.I.G.), it's ever changing, revealing something fresh and new week after week. For example, did you know about all of the poppin businesses and restaurants along the southern end of Lewis Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant that have opened up post-quarantine?
To celebrate our inaugural social distancing summer, on Saturday, July 18, Eurila Cave of EveryDayBK hosted "Best of BK Taste Crawl," a photo walk and food crawl through the heart of Bed-Stuy. Masks were mandatory and in effect until, of course, it was time to eat!
The group crawled up Nostrand to Fulton to Lewis Avenue visiting such businesses as BK Lobster, Cake Boi, Island Pops, Moshood and Lebre Garden.
The event sold out. So if you weren't able to get tix or make it, no worries: Check out these photos and then follow them on Instagram to stay in the know around what's up next:
