Police in Bed-Stuy's 79th Precinct are asking for the public's help in identifying members of a gang they say beat, then fatally shot a man in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Monday.
The incident occurred at around 10:00pm on Gates Avenue near Marcy Ave. and was caught on video.
In the video, the group is seen approaching the victim, 20-year old Samdrevious Head, and then punching and kicking him several times. As the victim attempted to escape, one of the men followed him and shot him in the back.
He was taken to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
