Eliza Factor— founder of Extreme Kids and Crew, a Clinton Hill play space for children with special needs— could hardly believe her eyes.

When she opened the door of her non-profit organization's space Easter morning, it looked like Hurricane Sandy hit it.

The play space, located in a one-room park house in Crispus Attucks Playground off of Fulton St and Classon Ave, had been broken into and vandalized, reported the Daily News.

The place looked like it had been ripped to shreds, turned upside down. The vandals, who Factor suspects were a bunch of unruly teens, ripped down decorative materials hanging from the ceiling and overturned a giant ball pit.

Big beanbag chairs and play mats were also dragged out of the space and deposited onto the nearby basketball courts. The looters even left behind Chinese food containers and a condom.

Factor said she wasn't sure how the vandals broke into the center, but guessed that since only a handful of the 30 member families have keys, the door may have been left unlocked.

The organization pays the full cost of most of its programs, she said, and did not have money set aside to pay for such a heartless act.

Factor organized a big cleanup of the site on Sunday, but she is also asking for donations to help pay for the repairs. To make a donation to Extreme Kids and Crew, visit www.extremekidsandcrew.org
