This week’s “10 Hand-Lettered” piece carries the theme of last week’s quote by Carl Sagan
And part of that theme is to keep believing in your dreams, because solutions, resources and support DO exist. Even if we cannot see them yet.
Often, even when we think we need to give up on our dreams, THEY tend to hold onto us! Our dreams need us as much as we need them.
If you are constantly thinking, even in the darkest, smallest, “most back-est” space in your brain, of something you would like to do, that is because your dream really does need YOU and is lingering back there, hoping you will pay some attention to it.
Listen, and then, let the things you think you need to go after that dream come to you. Expect it! Be open to things you simply haven’t sharpened your skills enough to perceive yet. And then work on your senses!
Develop skills, keep an open mind, read, daydream, write about your thoughts and feelings in a special notebook (write down your hopes and fears too,) cultivate your belief in possibilities, be aware of miracles showing themselves to you when you least expect it.
If you don’t want to believe in miracles, you could try believing and expecting pleasant surprises! Sharpen your ability to BE RECEPTIVE! Focus on what you want and remain open to magic.
Have a great week!
