Boris & Horton, a doggy-friendly cafe is getting ready to open up their first-ever Brooklyn expansion next year, reports What Now New York.

The dynamic new daytime dog destination offers New Yorkers a delightful cafe and community space to enjoy with their dogs.

Boris & Horton was initially established in 2018 by co-founders and notorious dog-lovers Coppy Holzman and Logan Mikhly. Originally located at 195 Avenue A, the cafe provided New Yorkers with an amazing community space to enjoy quality time with the neighborhood dogs.

Now, Holzman and Mikhly are getting ready to expand their brand with an exciting new outpost in Williamsburg. The new location, which is Boris & Horton’s first-ever expansion, will be opening up at 510 Driggs Avenue, right off of the Bedford Avenue L train. The new 2,600 sq ft space will feature additional benches for dogs, as well as a designated Instagram booth where patrons can take photos with their fuzzy friends.

In addition to this, the cafe will continue to offer guests a plethora of coffee, beer, wine, and merchandise, and will even host adoption and fundraising events, assisting countless dogs in finding forever homes.

Holzman said of the deal that “Williamsburg is the target market”, noting the steady rise of dog ownership among Millennials in the neighborhood, which has increased significantly since the beginning of the pandemic. Additionally, the team is looking to expand with two more locations in Manhattan, though those locations are not yet in development.

While awaiting the Brooklyn location, you can follow Boris & Horton on Instagram for regular updates.
