A man accused of fatally stabbing his roommate in Crown Heights has been charged with murder, according to police.
Denie Baptiste, 40, was charged with murder and possession of a weapon late Friday, according to police.
His charges come the day after his roommate, 45-year-old Steven Beckles, was found stabbed in the chest inside their Crown Street apartment building near Troy Avenue, police said.
