Hundreds of apartments in Central Brooklyn have hit the affordable housing lottery, some for those making as little as $9,000 a year, records show.
The apartments are found in two buildings that landed on the Department of Housing Preservation and Development lottery this week, including “Vital Brookdale” in Brownsville and a development brought on by the East New York rezoning known as Chestnut Commons.
The most affordable options are found in the Chestnut Commons complex, which is found on Dinsmore Place.
