The death of a beloved Brooklyn pastor whose son is accused of stabbing her 15 times has left her church community reeling in shock.

Tracey Sydnor was the executive pastor at the Upper Room Baptist Church on Rockaway Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

“She was the glue that kept everything together,” Terrence Reed, a lifelong friend of 61-year-old Sydnor, told the Daily News. “Not one bad thing can be said about her.”

Sydnor was killed Saturday when her son, identified by sources as Kenji Francis, allegedly repeatedly stabbed her in her Brooklyn home on Wyona St. near Livonia Ave. in East New York about 2:10 p.m.

  2. God be with the family. We can love our children. But may chosen a life style that not a direction that has helped only professional. I had to with both my sons all because our lifestyle our so different. We have to release. People, So call Unhealthy relationships, So friends family members, Too keep our selIt safe… It so sorry hear of this pastor death. It warning it could happen to me. Helping other people whom minds aren’t healthy. There family God strengthen my understanding when trying to help others. And give guides all your children. As my Grandmother say it’s the people in world not the world. Lord stop the blood streding. As we see the end is very near.where worry will be over.
