Beginning at age 7, Sam Twaiti would hang out at Gleason’s Boxing Gym watching his older brother train.

Today, at age 20, the gym has become his second home. And now, he’s following in his big brother’s footsteps and has big plans to fight in the Olympics, representing his parents’ native Yemen. He loves it when his opponents are fooled by his size, as he packs a punch so swift and powerful, it disarms the deluded.
