Permits have been filed for a new 17-story development at 1065 Atlantic Avenue in Bed-Stuy.

The mixed-use tower, planned for a site between Classon and Franklin Avenues, would be 175-feet-tall and yield 397,252 square feet, with 337,559 square feet designated for residential space, 51,818 square feet for commercial space, and 7,875 square feet for community facility space, New York Yimby reports.

The owner listed on the applications is  Craig Miller of BEB Capital and Bhaskar Srivastava of Dencityworks Architecture is listed as the architect of record.

The permits say that the new development will have 425 residences, which will most likely be rentals based on the average unit scope of 794 square feet, New York Yimby reports.

The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, sub-cellar, a 20-foot-long rear yard, and 126 enclosed parking spaces.

Currently, there is a two-story garage on the lot. Demolition permits for the building have not yet been filed.
