Residents of a violence-plagued Brooklyn neighborhood were shaken but hardly surprised Wednesday after a woman was gunned down during a street fight one night earlier.

Deandra Reed, 30, was fatally shot in the head when a dispute erupted near the corner of Georgia and Belmont Aves. in East New York.

Three nearby men heard arguing loudly before the Tuesday night shooting, police said. One of the trio in the escalating spat pulled a gun and started blasting away, hitting the victim in the head, cops said.

“I try to get in before it’s dark,” said local resident Margaret Roberts, 67, who moved into a nearby senior home six months ago. “I feel scared. I always feel like a gunshot could come through my window.”
