A man found dead in Brooklyn's notoriously toxic Gowanus Canal a day after the remnants of Hurricane Ida battered the city was a devoted father to seven children, his grieving sister said Monday.
Michael Robinson, 40, was found Thursday near 25th St. and the mouth of the canal— one of the most polluted bodies of water in the country ? still wearing his headphones around his neck and a baseball cap.
He was one of 13 people who died in the massive storm, and one of only two who didn't perish from flooding in a basement apartment.
