Assistant Trial Commissioner Josh Kleiman on June 29 found Sgt. David Grieco guilty, according to a source familiar with the case. Grieco had been prosecuted by the Civilian Complaint Review Board, which had sought a 20-day penalty after investigating an allegation by Uber driver Nash Martin following a January 2018 car stop in Brownsville — supposedly because police smelled marijuana in Martin's car and wanted to see if his two passengers posed a threat to him.
