Woman, 73, pushing cart filled with cans fatally struck by BMW in Brooklyn

A 73-year-old woman pushing a shopping cart filled with cans and bottles in Brooklyn was killed by a driver in a BMW, police said.

The victim was pushing her cart in the street on Albany Ave. when a 69-year-old man driving in the same direction struck her.

  1. This area sees far too many recklessly driven speeding cars. Albany Ave and Foster Ave border a park frequented by young children. Senior citizens walk around it. It is about time that police take action to make the area safe for citizens of all ages.
