The father of Sean Bell — the Black man who died at the hands of the NYPD in a hail of bullets in 2006 — is endorsing Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams in his run for mayor.
William Bell plans to make the formal announcement beside Adams Thursday in downtown Manhattan outside police headquarters.
The nod comes just two days after Adams won the support of Abner Louima, who was infamously tortured in 1997 by disgraced ex-cop Justin Volpe at a Flatbush police precinct.
