NYC College Attainment Varies Dramatically by Race, Neighborhood: Report

White New Yorkers and residents of the city's wealthiest neighborhoods are significantly more likely to have college degrees than Blacks, Hispanics and those who live in the city's poorest neighborhoods, new research finds .

In wealthy Manhattan neighborhoods like Greenwich Village and the Upper East Side, nearly nine out of every ten working adults finished college.
